This colored postcard depicts the Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church, also known as "The Little Church", located on Tower Street in The Weirs, in the early 1900s.
In the foreground is a grassy area with a dirt Tower Street beyond it proceeding from left to right. In the middleground, beyond Tower Street, are two large trees, the one in the center has a sign on it stating "_____ Garage ____". There is a dirt sidewalk/walkway beyond the trees running parallel to Tower Street. In the background on the left is the Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church, also known as "The Little Church". The church has a covered entrance on the front left side and steps leading up to it. There are several small windows across the front and larger windows along the left side of the church. There is a large round window also on the front of the church facing Tower Street, above the smaller ones. On the right beside the church is a building which housed the Weirs Music Hall, with a covered porch on the front facing Tower Street, with steps leading up to it. The Music Hall is two and a half stories high with windows on each level. There are trees in front of the Music Hall. On the far right in the background is the edge of another house/cottage visible through the trees. In the far background are additional trees. On the front is printed " The Little Church, The Weirs, Lake Winnipesaukee, N.H." On the back is printed "Post Card " and "2590 Published by Atkinson News Co., Tilton, N.H., Made in the U.S.A.". There is also a one cent stamp on the back and a postmark stating " Laconia, N.H. Aug 21 8-AM, 1916". Also on the back is a hand written note addressed to Mrs. M. Lefar____, Pleasant St., Laconia, N.H."
