This black and white postcard depicts the old Jewett Homestead in Laconia, N.H. circa 1780.
In the foreground is a set of steps leading up a small hill to the entrance to the house which sits in the middleground. There is a tree on each side of the steps. In front of the door in the middle of the house is a small girl on the left and a woman with an umbrella on the right. Next to the little girl is a carriage with a doll in it. There are two windows on each side of the door with shutters on them. On the far right is the edge of a porch. On the front is labeled "Old Jewett Homestead, 1780, Laconia, N.H." and "Canning, Laconia, N.H." On the back is written "For Aquedoctan Celebration, 1936".
