Item is an air mail envelope addressed to Mr. Ralph Cole of 122 Hilkinde Ave. Berline, New Hampshire. On the front there is a United States Air Mail Stamp with a map of the NH Lakes Region, dated from National Air Mail Week, May 15-21 1938. It is post marked may 19, 1938. The postage stamp is worth 6 cents. The envelope is sealed with a slit at its top edge. It is red, white, and blue with some green, blue and black ink.

Item is a letter from Mayor, Edward J. Gallagher addressed to "Our Friends." It is written on a Laconia Chamber of Commerce letterhead and is dated may 19, 1938. The purpose of the letter is to promote Laconia for tourism, with the reason for writing being National Air-Mail Week.
