Item is a booklet explaining the rules and regulations of the Letter Circle of the Class of 1897 of Laconia High School. It includes a front cover, five pages containing eight articles of rules, and a back cover. Also included is a list of members.

Item is a handwritten letter addressed to "Classmates" and signed by "your classmate, Frank R. Saunders." The contant of the letter explains that it accompanies a booklet of rules and regulations for the classmates' group, the Letter Circle of the Class of '97. It describes the duties of the members of the Letter Circle group specifically outlining what sorts of information to include in letters. A theme of the letter is loyalty to the Laconia High School class of 1897. Also brought up are dues and donations to funds such as the L. H. S. Library Fund, class reunions, and address changes.
