Description This black and white photograph depicts a view of The Weirs and Lakeside Avenue taken from New Hampshire Avenue located on the New Hampshire Veteran's Association grounds around 1930.

In the center foreground is dirt New Hampshire Avenue which proceeds into the middleground. Along both sides of New Hampshire Avenue are grasses and bushes. On the far right in the middleground are several tall pine trees and to their left is a square screened -in gazebo. There are two automobiles parked along the street to the left of the gazebo. There is a wooden walkway proceeding parallel to the Avenue on the right with two people walking on it near the automobiles. In the center middleground over New Hampshire Avenue is the arched sign stating "N.H. Veterans Association". There is also a string of lights on the right side of the Avenue in the middleground. There is another low building at the end of the Avenue on the left in the middleground. In the middleground on the far right beyond the gazebo is another larger house. In the center middleground is Lakeside Avenue which proceeds from left to right. Beyond Lakeside Avenue in the center is the Weirs Passenger Station/Depot building with several people in the long covered waiting are on its left side. In the background on the far left is the Weirs Cafe and Weirs Landing. In the far background is Lake Winnipesaukee with several boats in it. In the very far background is tree covered land and islands. On the back is stamped " The Achber Studio 49 Canal Street, Laconia, N.H.". Written on the back is "Weirs".
