Description This black and white photograph depicts buildings on New Salem Street in Laconia.

In the foreground is New Salem Street with a utility pole on the right. In the middleground on the far left is a two story building with an entrance on the front corner and windows on each level. There are tufts of grass growing in front of the building. On the right is another building/business with a covered entrance on the front corner. There are steps leading to the entrance. Near this entrance appears to be an air conditioner in the wall. On the front face of the building on the right is lettering stating "American Standard". There is another main entrance on this side with an awning over it. There are also several windows on the front of the building. There are additional tufts of grass in front of this building as well. In the background are trees. Written on the back of the picture is "Summer 1912, New Salem St., Laconia, N.H. East end yellow(?) ___House, ___________Old R.R. Depot between 1893".
