Description This black and white photograph depicts three(possibly four) Laconia Fire Department horse drawn fire engines on Union Avenue in Laconia, N.H.

There are three(possibly four) horse drawn fire engines proceeding down Union Avenue. The one in front has one fireman, in uniform, driving/steering the engine which has ladders on top. The second horse drawn fire engine appears to have one fireman, in uniform, driving/steering the engine. The third horse drawn fire engine in the far back appears to have one fireman, in uniform driving/steering the engine as well. There may be a fourth horse drawn fire engine in the far background, but it in a "cloudy" picture, so it in unclear. There are house, residences on both sides of the street. The one on the far right has a porch on the front. There are large trees along both sides of the street as well. On the back is written "Fire equipment on Union Ave. c. 1910."
